CHAPTER HISTORY
Organization and Chartering
In the later part of year 1976, a group of civil engineers based in Iligan City formed an association of civil engineers named PICE-Lanao Chapter. The organizing work of the association was spearheaded by Engr. Teodoro C. Santiago, who was the project manager of NPC-Iligan City and Engr. Paulino G. Lacap who was the resident manager of PHESCO, Inc..
Through their efforts, 136 civil engineers from Iligan City signed up as chapter members. These was the highest membership then of the PICE association outside of Manila. On January 8, 1977, the PICE Lanao Chapter became the 7th Chapter of the PICE.
It followed the Cebu, Iloilo, Negros Occidental, Cotabato, Davao and the Misamis Oriental Chapters.
In 1993, the PICE Lanao Chapter name was changed to PICE Iligan Bay Chapter (PICE-IBC). The PICE-IBC has been headed by dynamic and aggressive civil engineers coming from the private, local, national, industrial and academic sectors.
